JOB TITLE: Systems Development Team Leader
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £32,079 – £34,011 per annum depending on experience

We are looking for a hardworking individual who is able to work on their own initiative to undertake a full time, permanent Systems Development Team Leader role at a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester.
The successful candidate would need to be highly organised with excellent interpersonal skills and sharp attention to detail.
*Previous experience of using a computer query language and stored procedures
*Previous experience working with computer database systems
*Previous experience working with MS SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS
*Be able to analyse systems and design processes to meet user and business requirements
*Demonstrate a commitment to the continuous improvement of existing processes and to keeping up-to-date with new software developments.
*Be prepared to undertake relevant training and development activities, in agreement with the Director of MIS
*Level 4/+ qualification or equivalent in an IT related subject
*Experience of working within an MIS department in the FE sector
*Previous experience of using MS Access
*Knowledge of, and experience in, formal methods of systems analysis and user-needs analysis
*Previous experience of programming in Visual Basic.Net
*Previous experience of HTML and ASP.NET development
*Previous experience of Powershell scripting
