Overview

The successful applicant will be required to lead and manage a curriculum area ensuring high quality teaching, learning and assessment that meets the needs of individuals, the community and employers.

Main Responsibilities:

- To act as line manager for staff within the Directorate providing professional and personal support.

- To be the line manager for a group of staff within the Directorate, motivating and coaching staff to achieve, improve and develop to their full potential.

- To appraise staff ensuring effective feedback is given training needs are identified, performance is monitored and underperformance is addressed.
